Our actions are influenced by the interactions we have participated in in the past. Further more, these actions shape the enviroment we live in just as the enviroment affects us. Thus everything is connected. When I change the world, it changes me; when our paths cross neither is left the same. We are the guides to the fates that choose our destiny.
Maybe I'm wrong.
But it's what I believe; and through observation it is what I have found to be true. With this in mind I present to you my thoughts. In the hopes that anyone that cares can see how the world takes it's toll on me and why I choose the paths I do. Take care, though, for if my philosophy should prove true you'll remember my words and you won't be the same. And you'll change me if you should choose to leave your thoughts with me, and I hope you do.
"No man is an Island, intire of it selfe; every man is a peece of the Continent, a part of the maine; if a Clod bee washed away by the Sea, Europe is the lesse, as well as if a Promontorie were, as well as if a Mannor of thy friends or of thine owne were; any mans death diminishes me, because i am involved in mankinde; And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; It tolls for thee." - John Donne
Ernest Hemingway chose this quote to preceed his book, For Whom The Bell Tolls, one of my favorites. I think it's what set this thought into motion, so many years ago.
